Yeah, most of their HR army is just more of the ex military consulting figures they brought over with them to run the same boring playbook that doesn’t translate to corporate America anyway. But hey, at least heavy d can get all those really cool stories first hand on the private jet
it's a faux rebranding that people matter in conflict with attitudes & behaviors

This human is a reflection of all that is bad with our country. A fake military career, a fake professional title, no achievements, no skills, insecure and truly corrupt - has brought in failed military colleagues into this company in fake roles. The CEO of this company is no only weak and intellectually challenged, but also a criminal.
Never forget - despite what they say about "culture" and "values" and "safe workplaces" HR doesn't work for us, they work for your Seagate. We are both disposable and replaceable when circumstances become dire enough. Our executives measure succes by the quarter - they're not in it for the long run. Most of them only last a few years and then they take their millions and leave. And lest you think layoffs are over, think again. Google. Amazon. BlackRock. Citigroup. Xerox. You don't need to come here to know whether layoffs are coming. With companies like us at the bottom of the food chain, all you need to do is look up. Bad news flows downhill.
It would seem that Seagate has a whole department of Executives in charge of just title changes. What we really need is an Executive Removal Program. So with Seagate’s affinity for 3 letter acronyms ERP was born.
She indeed got rid of people and places.
Well it actually makes sense:
People: How many shall we cut next?
Places: Where are these people located.
