Is it just me or is morale just tanking? It seems like everyone is in the dumps recently

"The latest survey report clearly shows that morale is diving nose-deep. 10% more employees want to stay in the business for up to one year and no longer! 7% drop in confidence in the F5 future and 10% drop in confidence in senior leadership. "
And that's just showing the percentage of people d-mb enough to fill out the "anonymous" survey-- that they bug you directly about via e-mail when you haven't filled it out. Wise up people, they get demographics like age(ish), team, S-x (bet there's only 2 options in the dropdown, 3 if "other"), and tenure with the company when 5 responses are made on a single team.... ATTACHED TO YOUR COMMENTS when they read them.
They can figure it out.

Can we expect that those responsible for these results will be laid off? It's pure management and strategy failure! Isn't it?
Seriously, they're getting rid of learning day too?? They're not even pretending to care about employees (our hopes, dreams, ambitions) anymore...
And Learning Day is no more.
All scheduled engineering and business training in O'Reilly Safari Online is gone! The "engineering" company discontinued the subscription to the most comprehensive library of courses, live training, and books. What message does management send to employees by pursuing such actions? WE DON'T CARE ABOUT OUR STAFF!!!
Morale is diving deep even more.
Morale super low. Anyone who had half a brain in mktng left years ago for jobs that paid nearly double their peanuts at F5. SOS - save our ships, save our souls. This is a sinking ship and I do believe the grass be greener, whether that be fresh desk or somewhere else
"we should all learn from early-Google's example. When employees feel truly valued (which is rare!), it creates psychological safety, high morale, productivity, and creativity. Early employees would often encourage each other to "fail fast" as a means to innovation, but that's no longer easy in an environment where failure implies a layoff. If you're someone building a company, challenge yourself to value employees above all else, then watch and be amazed at the ROI."

"give us this minimum - freedom of choice"
They gave us the freedom to choose another company...
You cut mbo, so give us this minimum - freedom of choice : work from home or office.
Did the combination of “High Performance” and no raise and RTO not boost your morale?
You want me to be high performance? Let me decide if it’s best to be in the office or not. Visiting the office reduces my performance. People come and talk to me about everything but work. It slows me down. Listen to your employees on this please.
Morale is historically low. In fairness, it is low everywhere, BUT.. This does not remove any of the FLDs and other Execs responsibility for staff they are using to deliver whatever objectives they are bonused on. Their mouths are full of BS like: "F5ers working towards more secure world, deploying secure apps anywhere" etc. They expect people to care and thrive and own.. More and more people realise though, that FLD, Kara, Frank and others do not really care as much as they expect anyone else to. I wonder if they truly expect people to buy their cr-p or they just simply say it because everyone else is saying it too?
Notice the emails begging folks to attend the holiday party (who holds a holiday party in late January anyway)...I guess nobody wants to socialize with Kara and the other execs who are driving the company into the ground?
US office?
No, it's not only you. Wise people work to live, not live to work. Wise people do their jobs and, at the same time, constantly scan markets for new, better opportunities. Wise people understand that a company exist to make profits and that management won't even blink if they decide to cut you off suddenly from the corporate network, shut down your laptop and remove access to emails. Don't you hear all the time that you are a resource, and sooner or later the "AI" will replace you? Management can utilize you in the same way as old laptops, printers and dusty monitors.
Wise people don't buy BS about "we are a family", "common goals", and other "ridiculously easy" word salads.
