Everyone should know they're part in the business but instead box checkers, college bros and arm candy are being put into positions they shouldn't be. DP's good at picking which artificially sweetened snack to munch.

It starts at the top. The rants used to be about JP. He gets his direction from KR who follows CL lead. Don't expect any VP to know the business or be concerned about their teams. They count feet of fiber and nodes passed and some might watch budget used. If you are close to meeting the number they support you. If you're not close and can't s t r e t c h into your goal you don't fit the team. Without Towers cash to finance the fiber build fiber is hurting. Will Rapid, fiber 1" deep in the street, save $$ in the long run or be damaged constantly. TBD but it certainly lowers install cost. If you don't account the equipment, maintenance, travel expenses, wasted reinstatement.
Don't be too hard on your VPs. They're just playing the game. When the VPs deliver 4K nodes in Dec. 2024 after struggling to get 1k/mo don't be surprised.

Everything became a dumpster fire under DP. The most inept leader I've ever had the disgrace of meeting in my entire career. Talk about rising to the level of one's incompetence. DP is the poster child for that.

There is a new tier of employees. The toilet flushers division. There is a Executive VP, 5 Senior VPs, 10 Directors, 15 Senior Managers, 50 Managers, 50 Senior employees, 50 regular employees. Their job is to make sure the toilet flushed and you washed your hands. Layoffs are already planned for August 2024. We at Crown just need to spend money we don't have so we can borrow money to pay dividends...

It's because there aren't systems and processes. If the powers that be could pull reports you wouldn't need the tall structure we have to use. Managers time is just spent consolidating and reporting up.

This company has always been and will always be way too manager heavy - it is manager levels on steroids! Why do we need so many managers? Is it because the managers can’t do their jobs or can’t be trusted? Is it just to reinforce the Crown nepo system of good-ole-boy promotions to celebrate and promote the brown nosers? I’d like to hear other thoughts!

Reorg, reorg, reorg that's all they do. Every time you turn around since '16/17. Utterly ridiculous they can't get it right after oh I don't know 7,8,9,10 tries. Create some more director/VP positions why don't ya and then lay people off to make up the wage diff. There are too many MGRS. Good grief.

Re-orgs are dog paddling to stay afloat. The West is trying to prolong the inevitable. That leadership has it's days numbered.

Distractions to keep us busy and check off a box for project completion on time and within contingency.
The orgs use the titles they like.
Until the small cell and fiber evaluation completes why waste the time and $$ on things like this?
