Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

Today's meeting asks: Does focusing on the top 1500 mean that you’re implying we are exiting?

‘Does focusing on the top 1500 mean that you’re implying we are exiting? Let me make that point again you know the less than 1501 and down. No, we are not exit exiting. You're simply, it's a focus issue.’ ‘Doesn't mean you're walking away it means you're relying on the partners out there to sell, which we already do for the most part, to support, we want to push more support that way and make sure from a product point of view or being very targeted and IP Office is the jewel and we are not walking away from IP Office that is a jewel. That product has very little competition.’ ‘So we are not exiting, it's a focus issue it’s a focus issue.’ Spinmeister at its best!!!

true to my knowledge, hire and fire is the culture. If you won't adapt to the corruption.

Few stupid taking higher salaries and running their own companies in the background.

Hope you not referring to the most notorious location SG, just survived by fake audit conducted by different parties, who are themselves corrupt and indulge in it for years. In the evening there was a CHEERS across all parties to close the matter.

Either compliance, HR, board, leaders and most importantly investors are corrupt and ignoring this location of year's corruption. Any sensible investor will shutdown this location with immediate effect, as it is is bringing bad name to Avaya in the region.

Check the huge salaries of bunch if persons are taking for years

Avaya insider workforce is partner only. Where is Avaya?

At my location, high cost. An illiterate MD with bunch of goons part of his team taking hughe salaries and doing nothing for the company.

Why finance, legal, compliance and HR are sleeping. Why to tolerate this huge expense, where fake customer engagement is depicted to save corrupts doing nothing for the org.

Why can't such locations be shutdown completly.

Avaya sharing system ID’s sold by one partner and sharing it with other partners drove countless partners who invested their livelihoods into Avaya out of business. These IPO systems are not Avaya’s assets to sell. These IP Office systems were bought and resold by authorized or unauthorized resellers to the end user customers. Avaya considering these IPO systems as its assets that can be sold again out from under partners seems criminal.
