@7vcv+1qux3joR Good call, I believe that is PS’s purpose, after all, when he sells this thing to china, or one of its American subsidiaries,(named something like Stars and Stripes communications), they’ll want to install all of their own management team.

A tip I learned from a previous boss is to stay as close to the customer as possible. With new direction we will start seeing cuts of middle management that add little to no value to the company.

Retail should have been dumped years ago.

There's going to be another layoff in the spring, here's a good idea, if you have skills to get into something else, you should look now, places take months to get through a hiring process in most cases.

A 3 month payout doesn't mean jack if it takes over 2 months to get a start date at the next place.

@4pzc+1qux3joR I think the retail store here closes 1/28 or so. They moved it a couple years ago from a high traffic area to a nearby town where no one could find it.

Keep your eyes open in February/March. Doubt there will be a retail channel. You heard it here first.

I spoke through someone to Paul about things there. Nice to be candid about lower and middle leadership without repercussions. About pain points and concerns of the buddy system. I hope it equates out to some changes. He's gonna have a hard time selling if things don't improve. Keep cleaning house Paul.

I know that the new boss has got a lot of directors and presidents nervous. Hes not sitting back just letting them bullsh-t him. He expects answers to his questions and if not its your a&& in the hot seat. Great job Paul keep up the good work

Yeah talking about quality while my management constantly breathes down my neck wanting everything done by EOD while constantly piling new things. Then they give us tools that barely work and cobbled together systems.

So far the new guy gets an attaboy. He’s saying the right things like “ quality “ Tell that to my boss who pushes quantity. Like others are saying on this board, time to trim the dead weight and reorganize from the top down.

Do you see any more offers to techs

This company has a boat load of useless local and area managers. Probably left over from the TT era. Papa Smurf would do well to gut these two positions from coast to coast. It’s 2024, not 1995, there are way too many chiefs here. (way too many techs as well)

Just do away with retail. So much waste by those Mickey Mouse managers with their company cars “working” from home, then driving and flying all around to work half a day and plenty commingling going on. It’s 2024, direct to consumer.

No need to cut people. If they just cut the OT they’ll be fine. Lots of milkers out there padding their hours.
