Thread regarding NTT Data layoffs

NTT Rightsizing Activity (ongoing)

The initiative to slowly release and turn over roughly 15% of the overall work force. Many at NTT DATA are long standing employees from the Perot and Dell days and these folks are typically high on the pay grade. NTT is now doing what others like Accenture did a long time ago. They are insuring that very few US based resources are retained. Leadership and some Government contracts are the exceptions. Other than that, expect no more than 1 US based per 200 outsourced employees at best. In my short time i've noticed a huge shift in employee dynamic and overall policy. If you work for NTT I would make sure that savings account is hefty and always be searching for a new role outside of the organization. The new bench policy doesn't allow for much "paid" time, roughly 2 weeks. Good Luck, keep your heads above water.

They are release a large number of UK based developers, but keeping senior management, very strange as the devs are the ones generating income to pay all the senior management

@OP 1:200 is exaggerated. The reality is like 1:5, Around 20% of workforce will be US based.
