Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Enterprise rental car here we come

Talked to a buddy of mine who is an estimator working from home and af took his van away from him. He said if he needed to go physically inspect a car he had to rent a car from Enterprise. Its amazing that Geico, Progressive and Allstate all go out and physically look at cars while the farm wants pictures sent to them. End of 2023 and I cant wait to see what the record breaking underwriting loss will be. $13.3 Billion for 2022 and I bet 2023 will be greater.

It's clear this doesn't directly affect some of you because you don't deal with it daily. F pictures. There is so much back and forth between repairable and total loss and moving here and there. That is a waste of money. Can't pay for cars AND sc--w up almost every estimate you do. Also until aea stops su-king. It won't matter

Photo estimating is becoming more prevalent so auto downsizing its fleet was gonna happen sooner rather than later. They’ll probably send them over to fire. Lord knows they need them

Just like our government. SF has become a clown show instead of the first class operation it once was.

Realistically, why can’t auto claims be done via photos and videos??? It’s not like fire claims where half the house may be gone from a fire etc.

I think some of you simply find reasons to be pi---d off.

Giving these people company vehicles would be a waste of money when all these are doing is determining damages to vehicles.
