Anyone else in customer care completely burned out?

As the title reads, is anyone else in care burned out? The back to back calls nearly all day every day. The more stuff being put on us all the time and pressure for sales. The significant cuts to bonus payouts over the last few years. The lack of any real opportunity to move up or succeed. Leaders that don’t seem to care as long as they have a secured job.

The list can go on, but the work conditions for those of us in the front lines talking to the customers seems at an all time low, morale as well. Seems the corporate leadership is so disconnected as well that they don’t care about us at this level either.

Yeah this is a big thing. I hope the company sees this. I've work here for 7 years and use to love it. But just like you said the job started getting harder and harder pay is getting worse and worse. More than 1 third of my entire team left cause of this. I've talked to supervisors and they noticed the change too. Lack of transparency amd a new feeling like the front line doesn't matter. I moved to ERT cause of it. But going to finish my degree then I'm fk out. They even laid off 1 third of ERT. The answer we're all looking for is Mike Siervert the moment he became ceo this job started to get harder and harder.

No, they're making it as toxic as possible in Care so that people will quit, rather than laying them off as a part of the strategy to relocate care to contracted Care centers in the Phillipines.

I also work in care, for $200k I would keep doing it. But at the current moment and pay, I know myself and a lot of others are looking out.

The hit to bonus pay has been the worst. Wages for front line care workers now are not keeping up for cost of living. So fees like straight up poverty in this role. No opportunity to earn more either.

And customers and call volume have gotten really had as you said. Feels like we are just treated as slaves by leadership and not viewed as real people with feelings.

Isn’t everyone in customer care always burned out… since the beginning of time? This is one of the least attractive jobs in the country with some of the highest turnover of any industry. Low pay and constantly dealing with angry/disrespectful humans… you couldn’t pay me 200k a year to do that job.

There's still customer care in the US? I thought they were on a speed path to sending it all to Manila.
