JG is very smart and competent. Just closed minded and not open to enterprise thinking. Especially when it comes to giving up scope when it rightfully belongs elsewhere. For example she has been keeping CBRES at bay for years because she/PSCM needs a home for SCM folks who do not perform in traditional SCM roles. She actually hired real estate resources in Angola and Perth as opposed to developing CBRES resources.

Maybe JG should follow her BUs mantra of not sole sourcing roles to SCM and bid them out to CBRES and other BUs who are more competent to do the role.

JG gets the job. TM replaces her. Who goes to ABU? BD? What other moves follow?

P/SCM is just an excuse to give friends and relatives jobs.

None of the top leaders has the backbone to do a cleanup. There will be a musical chairs exercise with that single opening. Thats it. We will still carry the deadwood stalled at their 26 and up psgs.

The nepotism in this function is insane. And P/SCM leaders taking advantage of their suppliers to get their kids employed is also another story. This function needs change.

Also hearing rumors that some of the SF LT may also be looking to retire. It will be good to see a change some change in this area as well.

They need to get leaders who actually know supply chain.

It's going to be JG. SB has already expressed no interest in the role.

not having JG dominating the function would be a good change.

Do you think it will matter?
PSCM is hopeless in this company for the most part. Not as bad as HR but nearly.
