He's basking in pure bliss... Reveling in the delightful moments of life alongside his kids in a sun-soaked idyllic location. Lounging in the oceanfront pool of this secluded paradise has been his blissful routine for the past few days. Amidst the warmth, serenity and tunes of the singing birds, he takes occasional breaks to touchbase with his financial advisor, putting the finishing touches on the trust funds he's been crafting for his children over the past six months. Like the savvy strategist he always is, he feels sharp and cunning -having abandoned the sinking ship just at the right moment while his board buddies dozed off in the wheelhouse. An old friend jokingly called him a "shrewd rat" on the phone the other day. But there's no remorse lingering for his buddies left behind at the firm. They're left in the wake of their own ineptitude. He recalls the frustration the sense of betrayal from those he hired, those he once trusted. Those buddies turned out to be a bunch of losers. They will get what they deserve soon for the countless times they let him down. At least he doesn't have to endure their whining anymore. In fact, they should be thankful for the compensation they have been receiving, something they never could have achieved otherwise. There's still a twinge of lingering anger when his thoughts turn to those backstabbers. But right now, his predominant emotions are of smug satisfaction and snug contentment in his present sanctuary. Life is good, and he's savoring every delightful moment.

Hey Gang, I have not had the opportunity to write you guys a farewell note, but I thought let me do it here. Cause most of the tough markers of dixie visit this forum regularly.

Firstly, I am happy and relieved that I do not need to manage this mess of a company in a totally competitive market (read indian outsourcers eating us alive) and a totally useless senior management that knows nothing but just keep the seats warm and share a good loot. I shall retire in peace, may be take another board job, but essentially done with you guys.

If this company and the board are smart, they will quickly clean up the mess, cut the fat and drive this company to profits.
