If u want to save a couple weeks look into all the leaves. If u get sick then a family member dies that is 2 weeks.
Read the policy. If you essentially give notice March 1, you made it. As payroll is already processed, but i would wait until March 7 to be “safe”
There are certain scenarios where you can get the CIP if you quit before March. It's outlined in the HR policies. I personally wouldn't risk it with the the toxic HR group in Chevron.
Please don't ask your HR business partner, they're likely to give you the wrong answer. Only good point, they probably won't get back to you with an answer until 3/8.
Technically you can leave before the payroll is deposited as you jjst need to work until Mar 1. I would wait till the check is in hand then quit.
Good idea to ask this on the layoff's site, because when your head is on the chopping block, you squeal like a stuck pig.
Unless you retire, no. You have to be on the payroll the day the bonus is issued. As others have said, don't take any chances, don't leave until the money hits the bank. Your new company will understand.
No, unless you have enough “points” to retire (age plus years worked). Some employers will considering matching a missed bonus like this if they are interested in you enough to care.
Don’t risk it, don’t put in your notice till the money is deposited.
I just asked MW. He told me to tell you to quit. He's really, really sorry to see you go.
Don’t quit until you receive your bonus.
If retiring, yes. Otherwise no.
Yes. If you quit before 3/7 you make a generous donation to the remainder of your team.
Yes….No…..Yes…..No……uhhhh not sure! Good luck!
no, you dont. A member of my team quit a couple of years ago early Jan and I was able to use the $ from the team budget to give it to others. Not even in payroll when the payout is made (March 7th). If you want to get it, you need to be in payroll by 03/07.
Oh he-l no will they give you a bonus if you’re not in seat. It’s why there is always a wave of departures in March/apr
I believe so you worked all of last year which is what the bonus is based on.
