Thread regarding USAA layoffs

Lifelock benefit

Who came up with this benefit and why? IMO, that's the employee's obligation and should not be on the company's dime? I got the free-tier packet I signed up for, but afraid to activate it, thinking that it's another way for the company to track me.

Lifelock is protection and security, although you have to register your devices, and have Norton does all the monitoring, most importantly your credit. It's highly unlikely that Norton will share your info to the company, but I could be wrong. Just look at how Netbenefits and all your financial info is so visible inside the company and you don't know who sees them.

What struck me about this post is how frightened the OP is about the company tracking him/her. This is incredibly sad, and USAA should be ashamed of how badly employee relations have become. I have felt distrustful of USAA for almost a year now. No other company I have worked for in my long IT career has struck this cord in me. I cannot wait to leave USAA in my rearview mirror.
