Anyone have any luck with the outplacement agency? So far my interactions have not been great. They basically said you can apply for jobs but you need to just reachout to people on linkedin for referrals. So they will do nothing for us... there search engine su-ks and the results are a mess to filter through. Just trying to see if it is the person I am assigned to or if everyone has the same experience.

It’s horrible!
I'm not a huge fan of my career counselor. I've had my resume redone by them but most of the webinars have been entirely useless. The job search tool is trash and they have nothing good healthcare related. My LinkedIn profile looks better but that's about it. Definitely wouldn't recommend them.
They were useless when the 3000 of us were laid off in early 2021.
My neighbor had a similar setup with LHH last year as we do after being let go by GE after 20+ years. Said the first person he worked with was fairly useless so he asked to be assigned to someone else. Said the new person he worked with was great.
I’ve decided to retire so not utilizing them but if you don’t feel like they are helpful you can ask them to assign you to someone else.
Sure you can do it all yourself but having someone else help advocate for you and advise you on your resume and interviews can’t hurt.
Hey! Yes, my interaction was just yesterday. Although I see the intent being a nice gesture..... it is literally something I can do on my own! I have already been filling out applications left and right on both linkedin and indeed so I'm not sure what type of audience they thought they'd have upon us being laid off. We had good jobs so apparently, we want a better job to replace it!
