UPS layoffs - what to expect

It seems that everyone is still on board with the explanation that the layoffs are being caused by declining consumer demand. This article gives a good sense of what to expect not only with regard to UPS, but the storage and shipment industry as a whole. Lookout for 2024 - not good.

SCS headquarters is supposed to be closing the doors soon. I heard as early as the end of January 2024. SCS isn't going anywhere, but there's rumbling of moving everyone to 55/35 Glenlake, and requiring office attendance 5x/week. Trying to thin the ranks by making people quit.
