I reached out to a former team member that was laid off in Aug (last day Oct) and she did in fact receive her bonus- curious on people with that timeline when/if they received their bonus and time from severance. On the same token now that the severance will be paid on Friday we will have 30 days to receive our bonus from then if we qualify and they actually pay it. I am happy to share if/when I get mine. Just curious what others are experiencing. Thanks!

Interesting. I wonder how they determined who was getting a bonus and who wasn’t? I was told that I wouldn’t be receiving a bonus upon severance from this place. I am reading that some people have received bonuses.
If this layoff wasn’t based on performance, but the financial needs of the company, then why are some getting bonuses and not others? And yes, I normally did receive bonuses and was eligible. 🤔
I got my bonus early in the year. I was HealthNet, not sure if any other Centene people got a later bonus.
I re-read the two letters they gave when we were initially laid off- one says you will receive your bonus if eligible within 30 days of severance. The other letter says you will receive your bonus with payment of the severance. Clear as mud like most things with this company.
I was a part of the August lay offs (last active day 10/06/2023) and was assured by my People Leader who was the COO of the Health Plan in NY and also the Senior HR Business partner that I would get my full bonus. I should have received it no later then 30 days after my severance payout which 30 days is 12/10/2023 and never received it however I did get the blank type "normal" $0 earning statement on 12/22/2023. I contacted HR Severance Partners who said I will need to contact payroll as only they have that information and when I contacted Payroll they advised I should be getting it soonish but only the HR Severance Partners know that information. Thankfully Payroll did push it up to their leadership but its been 9 days and still waiting on an answer. HR Severance did get back to me with more information and advised me that "The position level you were in is not eligible for bonus, this is related to position level only, not related to the reduction in force. Employees remaining at that same position level are also not eligible.". I was a Business Analyst Pay Grade L and when I was active I never received any communication about this and after leaving also never received communication on that news. The Severance Agreement I signed stated I was eligible and will be receiving it and the COO and HR Business Partner assured I will be getting the bonus.
I thought we weren't getting bonuses after 2023. I got mine in first quarter 2023. Do people get them later in the year, or is there something I am missing with this?

When I called HR payroll before final work 12/1/23 date, they told me bonus would get paid out same time as severance. Based on what I saw in my workday payment to deposit tomorrow, that is correct.
Bonus payouts are in March. I really doubt anyone laid off in 2023 has yet received their bonus payout.
