Are the Medicare employees actively trying to jump ship to the other business units or…? Just curious.

I have been applying for external roles with other payers for 2 months, but I haven’t had 1 interview.
Employers were begging for my skills in 2019…not anymore.
I’ve applied to 60 jobs and had a small fraction of those materialize into interviews. I’m very well qualified for what I’m applying for, have an exceptional work history and record. I’ve never seen anything like this. Prior to now, practically everything I applied for led to a call, interview, and offer. It’s wild.
I've been applying to other companies since October and desperately applying since November. I've done 9 interviews this week with 3 more scheduled for tomorrow. The climate is rough right now. I've never had this much trouble finding a job.
I'm riding it out. Been through one of these divestures before and it turned out to good. However I have heard of others not be so lucky. If the sale happens, I will ride it out and see how it goes while passively looking for a better job. I am not looking to move within Cigna, I also happen to live in an area where HCSC has no office footprint so I would hope I can remain WFH if this sale happens.
I think people will hang on until bonuses are paid and then start actively applying. But I know others who think HCSC would be way better to work for than Cigna. I think others would rather be hybrid and keep their tenure with Cigna than go to a different company.
Sure they are.
However, pretty much all posted jobs are hybrid. So wfh folks will probably just ride it out.
