So it took almost a week to get SODA sorted at the busiest time of the year and as late as yesterday we were still getting told to raise a ticket.
Customers complaining about orders not being processed, digital codes not working, lines in stores because of staffing cuts.
WTH!!

The Ivory Tower is maybe 6 to 10 Executive VPs plus support staff away from successfully improving the ROI for the JRC investors!
Lower pay for new hires and clear out the dead wood in the stores.
We need motivated associates in the stores to make JRC investors successful!

What a nightmare! It's time to wake up and start putting the money back into the stores. Both in payroll and in systems. Really, how much money was spent on slack, when we already have teams? Do we really need all the VPs?
And the thanks we get is the looming threat that our jobs are on the line. One heck of a culture you created EK.

Hopefully customer poor satisfaction made it way to campus contacts and higher up the chain of command on each campus.

Y'know instead of spending all those $$$ on Slack licenses maybe it would be an idea to get the programs we use working properly.

Glad I left! Follett is a toxic place to work for and didn't realize to I left! Trust me, get out! Send our your resumes and look for something else. I can't believe I stay for all these years. I been stress free now since I left Follett. Love working my new career and I'm still in higher education, position with the college/University!
Makes me smile when I think about the folks at Jefferson River Capital are realizing they purchased a dying business. Hiring people for the Ivory Tower that talk a good game but can't find their bottoms with a mirror on a stick! Swell, and so's your old man!

Another ivory tower pseudo pet rally attempt! My store is markedly short on Spring adoptions and therefore Spring texts, but I do have a plethora of GM that makes the store look full. Perhaps we will have our QTC guesses reflect the logic of the Fall guesses and fall woefully short this time? How long does this mismanagement plan to burden those who have hung on to the hope?
