I'm a contractor though so might not impact FTE. The contracting agency said they saw a lot of their othe contracts impacted but didn't provide a number.

Sorry you were let go. Contractors, like employees, are being let go to make room for hiring cheaper labor in India.
A lot of the contractors are through vendors like Accenture/Tata that has a lot of offshore india workers though
