On a serious note, who is left of any level
Of capability in the leadership team ?
@2dam+1qnTO35p 100% agree. Since that company is splitting up in 2, his talents are surely needed for bigger problems in the future elsewhere. Wish him well for sure.
@2wgo+1qnTO35p Michael Ray at WD is a class act, so likely his departure has more to do with strategic alignment / direction or he’s simply tired of what’s happening over here like many of us.

Same position at WDC left as well.....mmmmhhh
I can’t even imagine the number of lawsuits Seagate must be fighting right now.
It’s a Harvard moment.
Now the fun part... who becomes the new chief liar (I mean legal) officer?
When the GC leaves, your dirty laundry walks out with ‘her’ into the public arena. I’m sure they have paid her off to keep the ‘sh*t’ from leaking.
noted here: either a mutual separation over the Huawei issue or fed up with the antics
She is the compliance officer so yeah, the ball stops with her. My gut sense is she was overruled so she made the decision to look for work elsewhere. Or it could be that she was the one responsible and for whatever reason, they decided to not make her a public scapegoat and told her she was done by the end of the year. The fact that Dave never made any sort of apology or explanation beyond their "disagreement" with the trade interpretation makes me suspect that Dave was ultimately responsible and she decided her time as a compliance officer for Seagate has come to an end.
Isn’t she the one responsible for approving the Huawei deal ?
