Christmas returns still going on. Sometimes goes into January 20th area if a normal year. If any changes were to occur , look for it after that.

peak had alot less full trailers to unload and very few u-haul truck rentals per a normal peak season. much of shippers income depends on holiday shipping. this can't be good. but the closed cargo shipping lanes in red sea are drumming up more airline shipping abroad. maybe this new revenue stream will even out any losses.

Watch closely what FedEx has to say to predict what UPS maybe thinking. FedEx is typically upfront with information and the bellwether to UPS quiet planning.

No money left to spend hardly unless it is for essentials like food and fuel. Not good for shipping companies. Peak season had a hissing sound of leaks (no money to blow) and the normally inflated peak balloon never got off the ground this year. But it was expected and planned for . Would not be surprised if many layoffs and job combining happens.
