Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Many posters work at AMD

I think many posters here are just hater employees from AMD. Intel still cleans their clock in revenue and market share. They hate that Intel have a successful fab business again and AMD failed with Global Foundries (when it was AMD).

OP is the type of person that would have said "AMD is now in the rear view mirror, never again will they be in the windshield!" two years ago.

Looks like the effects of Intel’s brain drain are still going strong. Just took another short position. Shorting the stock when it dropped from 55 to 25 paid off my house.

I love the misdirection. GG Intel HR. Same as our marketing teams strategy? Blame others?

People can decide for themselves what is and is not valuable. I've personally found many useful things here that only insiders would be privy too which have helped me navigate internally.

I would stick to what you are good at. For example, our DEI brainwashing power point slides. They seem to be working if destroying any sense of unity is the goal. Should probably revise the performance grading mechanism as well. I pretty much submit the same generic OKR and no one seems to care. I'd also appreciate it if you can have wellnomics force 30 min breaks every hour. I might turn it back on.

All financial comparisons between Intel and whoever else are pointless because it is not a real business.

Calm down op+1qj. AMD has been recruiting and hired smart Intel talent engineers to its success stories. You can blame Intel a--lickers or buttsuckers for its failures. Don't blame on AMD employees. They are way better and smarter than Intel employees now. We are still hiring if you ever get laid off by Intel soon.

Thank you Intel layoffs. When people don't have jobs to do, they can stop by here to have an opinion about Intel.

AMD came roaring back with a vengeance after spinning off Global Foundries. Whoever helped turn them around is probably much better off than the intel people that have been there for 20 years.

Educate yourself first with industry first class inside dude. Don't blindly listen to Intel blah blah blah.

This OP is delusional. Face it, Intel is in real trouble. Just watch what happens with Intel layoffs in 2024 and beyond.

Beats on revenue? Gimme a break. Intel may (still) be 2x AMD revenue but that’s also with 5x its headcount: the sign a sure winner.
