Anyone worried about being told to work from home this week? Deja vu?

TMO owns VERY FEW office locations.... ANYWHERE. They lease them. And built into those leases are power, water, etc. Call centers are a different story, as they've built out magnificent facilities across the country and most of them are no longer in leased locations. Retail stores are a mixed bag. Those in standalone buildings are likely owned by TMO. Those in strip malls are certainly NOT and are leased. Back to office spaces though, it saves them NOTHING to power down the buildings for a week. The corporate towers 'may' be TMO property, but I'd bet that even those are leased buildings. TMO is not a landlord or facilities management company. It's better to leave those tasks to the professionals.

Nah, someone's gotta keep those office potlucks and Tik Tok dances (otherwise known as "company culture") going.
Get back to work and quit complaining.

sprint campus went 'dark' the week between christmas and new years to cut utility costs.
am guessing this is the same thing for tmo campus.
Think of the $$ savings if they don't have to light and heat all the offices. This s a cost cutting item for the last week of 2023. Nothing else.
That’s how it starts.
You will then get an email to be on an all hands call, where they will break the news.
You will then get an appointment to go to office to get your personal items that someone else has packed up, and turn in you devices, PCard and building ID.
Good luck to all
