No chance it will be Meg. She is 67 now and has a cushty job as the US ambassador to Kenya. My bet is on Andrew Wilson.
You think to much from the existing IT outsouring and GBS business.
That is not what the CEO is for, as history of DXC has proven.
Make money out of selling that business, that's what is asked for.
I'd be very surprised if it was anyone internal. It's just not the dxc way to give the top job to someone who might already understand the company.
No we will give it to someone who knows nothing about dxc so they can fail to achieve.
Admittedly the talent pool is shallow but... Getting in an outsider is fraught with risk too... Unless anyone believes that just any old IT middle manager could do the job.
Hey Gang, While you guys are ruminating as to who will be the next ceo to come and royally sc--w you guy's and girls (remember the DEI - diversity equality and inclusion cr-p that we were pedalling to hide the company performance!) -... and ruining your holidays, here I am relaxing and taking some time off.
Ho Ho Ho!
It is the 'Goal oriented drummer ' - board is finalizing the Finer details and numbers
It won’t be AWS. They are seriously lacking in the AI game.
re: Meg Whitman - in the very unlikely event that did happen we can reinstate an old HP joke ... "Q: how do you create a $10B company?" "A: Give Meg a $100B company and wait 4 years" ...
Matt Roberts for CEO
My prediction... Some divisional leader from Microsoft or AWS.
Or if not that then from somewhere else but they will have had responsibility for AI where they are.
Here's an idea though, we should push for it to be an internal promotion and the choice should be staff driven. Any employee is able to be nominated.
That would be radical and put dxc in a unique place.
