Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

Likelihood of working remote after enough layoffs

Do we think that after they reduce their workforce by enough that they'll walk back the RTO? I haven't heard of anyone being fired for not being in the office enough so I'm curious how much they're enforcing it now and in the future.

Unfortunately, no. They’re getting incentive to have people on the office from the city government. If anything, they’ll probably increase the RTO.

I am work at home. I don't live near a Cigna office. When looking for other roles it's hybrid, hybrid, hybrid... very frustrating.

He's already been following and yes, they need to fill up all that lease space they're paying for. I can guarantee on the new job postings, they will point to an office.

Only if other companies start doing it first. David Cordani is a follower and not a leader, he would make this shift if only other companies started doing it. He needs to feel peer pressure from his fellow CEO's.
