she's probably going to donate the millions of dollars to the new ex-tmo folks. or maybe she's buying a condo in vail within walking distance of a ski lift, and wants to pay cash..??
I forgot to add: the title of this thread is obviously false. Claiming that she sold a "majority" of her shares indicates one of two things: not really understanding the definition of the word "majority"; or intentionally misrepresenting the facts (lying) to create controversy, worry, and drama where none exists.
Because obviously, 1/3 is less than 1/2, and since she sold around 1/3 of her directly held shares, she did NOT sell "a majority of her stock."
She sold around 1/3 of her directly held position (RSU shares) - a perfectly normal thing to do when stocks are at all time highs (lock in gains). Also, contemplating holding/not selling a stock, because it has a paltry 1.6% dividend yield, is not a thing. For example, the stock is down around 3% since she sold her shares...
What is more interesting is that Dara Bazzano (SVP & Chief Accounting Officer) also sold around 1/3 of her position on 12/13/23. If I'm "smart money" (and with a lot of it), I'm going do what the CPA's are doing, and when. 😉
She sold after the the dividend date of 11/30/23. So she waited until after she got her $0.65 per share and then sold them.

You only dump if you is think stock is crash.
This looks like she/hers will be hitting the exit. Why would you sell all of these shares now that dividends will be paid on them?
This is pretty standard procedure especially since the stock is at an all-time high. But, yeah, layoffs on FILL_IN_DATE.
From a news summary: In a notable insider transaction, Deeanne King, the Executive Vice President & Chief People Officer of T-Mobile US Inc (NASDAQ:TMUS), sold 24,328 shares of the company on December 15, 2023.
Looking at the Form 4, she still holds 40,375 shares (today, valued at $6.2M). This was not her converting options. This was an open market sale. She sold the exact same number of shares over 3 consecutive days on the open market.
So she sold it for zero dollars? Donated it? What does that even mean?
