Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Intentional Sabotage ??

100% Remote Employees losing functional attributes to perform their jobs …. travel restrictions being placed on the sales ??
Is this Happening elsewhere or is SB just another MBA junkie promoted into a deeper level of incompetence ?
Demotivating at every step of the way … it’s a shame that it is possible to pinpoint the date of decline aligned to SB start time here.

We have a manager in our group who is totally under qualified, embarrassingly unprofessional and just a general m0ron. He survived two layoffs when super talented and experienced guys were let go.
Go figure, it is actually incredible to watch this guy bumble around going from one feck up to another and still survive. Whilst I work in the same group I am thankfully not in his GBE, even my manager openly laughs with us and wonders how this guy can possibly still be here. What is scary though is that in my three odd years here I realized this is not unique! I have never known a company like it!

You don't need any degrees or qualifications. People take these promotions in order to put it on their resume.

All that's required to get promoted. When you can't see anymore and you're in the dark. You're in the right position. The management doesn't have to use their feet anymore. You'll do the walking for them.

Also it's a good idea to carry a clipboard. You don't need to see. When you're walking for somebody else. They got their own eyes.

Every aspect of work here feels like it is being sabotaged, I sometimes wonder how the he-l we are still in business and making any profit. We are lucky we have a director who shares our frustrations and is transparent about the ridiculous challenges he and our team face daily.
I am told we have long been robbing Peter to pay Paul to keep the stock price from dropping and that we are soon to run out of options. Our director predicts the threshold could be hit this year soon and Honeywell will be in free fall.
The whole team thinks it is just a matter of time now and we are all seriously considering our futures.

If it smells bad, stay away from it. A simple rule that works.

I think it’s happening company wide in various different ways. Every SBG. I believe that it’s intentional. They want attrition because they think it’s cheaper than layoffs. Also, most leadership at Honeywell- again all SBGs- are RAGING narcissists. Hands down the most toxic environment I’ve ever experienced anywhere. By a mile.
