There are a lot of rumors going around. Some colleagues report low-key layoffs, going under radar. Anyone have any info?

Definitely picking people off around the edges with little warning. Radeon Pro cuts hit the entire team up to the VP. It was a surprise to many people. Also seeing discrete cuts elsewhere. Server, events, etc. Seems many teams might be being told they have to cut a percentage. This has been going on for a few months.
Several dozen if not over a hundred people in the Radeon Pro and graphics business were let go a few weeks ago. Barely a word about this internally. Just whole groups suddenly gone. Don’t seem like it was individual based but group based. Lots of surprised people.
Got laid off out of the blue last month. They are really good at keeping it low key. Several folks across the orgs. Especially the recent hires down the hierarchy are the targets.
Selective layoffs definitely happening.
Victor acknowledged some recent layoffs but didn’t go into any details. Someone asked with so much work why not move them around and he basically said “whatever “. So much for Lisa saying she doesn’t lay people off. What a liar - she just hides it very well and these things are never announced. So if you still work for AMD you’re just a disposable worker unless you’re in the cool club of VPs and up.
