At least everyone should be happy that F5 used some of the money saved from trimming the fat to buy WIB. It's a bold step forward.
I also appreciate that FLD came as close to saying 'yes' about April layoffs as he could.

Redundant and overlapping roles in acquired companies will be eliminated. Marketing and sales will be the first to go, followed by technical support. Update your resumes!

Don't leave out HeyHack... that I learned about from External to F5 LinkedIn posts, not an internal announcement.

A few years back, buzzwords like "digital transformations" or "agile transformation" were keys to getting investors to drive share prices up. Now, the exact role plays the word "AI". As long as it appears in marketing materials, sales speeches, etc., it brings attention and keeps share prices going up. Interestingly, the more ELT talks about the mysterious "AI", the more product issues customers report, and more customers switch to more competitive, better products.
The Agile bandwagon is over - it's onto the AI bandwagon now.....
Everything was Agile - now it's AI.......
