Bonuses?

Are we getting a bonus this year or is that just not happening?

I heard the bonus was Swift’s newly released “Era’s Tour” CD with all kinds of cool tour footage, anyone else hear the same thing?

Oh, please. EVERY company on earth has cut benefits steadily over the years and they did it for high up people, too. They cut the good pension and many other high level perqs.

Try Progressive. Huge gain share almost every year!

Under band E never got bonuses. The answer I got directly from a director almost word for word was that employees under band E are easily replaceable and dont have skills worthy of a bonus. This was a few years ago but clearly shows you how they view the underlings.

Allstate has never given bonuses to anyone under band E. Why should they? The employees still work there and accept it. For the newbies just fyi, the company use to match 401k $1 to $1.25 for every dollar put in by the employee for first 5% but cut that out around 2010 and then cut it again in 2013 along with changing the time it takes to be 100% vested, also they did away with any retirement pension for any new hires. They also used to contribute $500 to HSA every 6 months for high ded plans, but stopped doing that as the plan offerings became more expensive with less coverage. In 2020 they decided to put everyone under an arb agreement for disputes and cut the addnl 5 day pto benefit for employees who have been with the company for 15 yrs. Just a few of the many other perks such a great company offers its most valuable resources (namely the employees that make the business operate) in order to show you how much they appreciate and respect you.

Bands E and F and above are eligible for bonuses. For the rest, there used to be performance bonuses that were given out rarely. Have not heard of them being given out since transformative growth.

Remember that $10 Walmart gift card you received in early December? That was your bonus you ungrateful pigs!

Retired last year. Tough times. First time since 1994 I don’t receive bonus and equity. Many thanks to Allstate.
