The latest SEC filing shows that the actual payout (face value) on the bonds average between 6.3 and 6.8%. This is per Stanbury. Wall Street shows a much different picture. Investors have greatly devalued the bonds. They are selling for about half of face value. Some bonds have a current yield of over 40%. Indicating significant risk that you'll get your money back.
