If 2023 layoffs are happening I think notices will go out Feb 29th. Yes it's a leap year. This would put the 60 day garden leave ending at the end of April beginning of May. That timeline seems logical because the end of April beginning of May is when the final severance payment is made to the last of the 2023 5000. Why not just keep the severance payments going with a new group of lucky lottery winners.

No mass layoffs in 2024. We are doing great, some operations positions will go contract but jobs will stay with same people.

I do believe it will be sooner so as not to vest more stocks and give it to whoever gets the boot. Given that the stocks will vest on the 25th of Feb(which is a Sunday). My assumption it will be the week before. At that point the people that will be selected for the layoff neither gets the new stock grant nor get more stocks vest immediately.
