Where is shared service located state, coty is in one place or multiple? Does it depend on the job?

From what I’ve noticed, there are corporate shared services, but then sometimes those same shared services exist and are fully managed in a given market (eg CA, TX, etc). The larger the market the more likely they will have their own boots in the ground vs a centralized team at corporate.
There are certain positions that fall under shared services. It considered corporate, so most of these jobs can be done from multiple states and because of that, often work multiple LOBs at a time or can and float around based on need. Hope this helps.
