Thread regarding USAA layoffs

Don't give up

I just want to encourage those that are tired of outdated policies like RTO to keep on fighting. Wayne said RTO isn't changing, but don't let that stop you from tanking Pulse. If he wanted a game of tug-o-war, then he started it. Keep being honest. Keep fighting. I remember a prior CEO said, "take care of your people, and they'll take care of the company." Take a look at USAA ratings on BBB or any other rating website. Why would ANYONE want to do business with USAA? If execs want to take care of our customers and improve USAA's image, you MUST take care of your employees. If I received a 39% Employee Satisfaction as a leader, then I should have the worst performance review ever. I should not get a raise. I should not get a bonus. I should get a PIP, and if it didn't improve, then I should get fired. When you get a Pulse email, do not let Wayne or any other manager discourage you from being honest with your response.

Pulse was (not sure now) part of EMG metrics which has direct impact on their bottom line. Things may have changed since then…I’m now an outsider looking in :)

News Flash…. USAA IS GETTING RID OF THE PULSE! It will be announced shortly. They will only survey employees about 4 times and year…. They are putting something on slack… but THE PULSE is the next thing to go.

Fu-k them. I am not going back to the office for anything. If they have some ja----s upper management seat warmer work remote then why in the he-l do we have to adhere to their poorly thought out RTO bullsh-t.

I actually being in the office more. The work feels more fun and less lonely. But I can appreciate not everyone feels that way.

Tanking Pulse and not doing 4 day RTO, so doing my part. They might get 4 day RTO - over a 2 to 3 week period!
