This is just a friendly reminder not to trust your managers no matter how friendly they are. Allstate is a man-eat-man kind of company these days and if you trust anybody but yourself, you're going to get sc--wed over majorly. I know this because I'm sadly speaking from experience.

I just think it is so funny that senior leadership are so proud of themselves as leaders. The fact that they made it this long at this organization is not a compliment or something they should be proud of personally or professionally. Being a snake got them to this point. As a prior employee l, glad the stock is there and glad I am OUT! I had the best of this company for 20 years.
Before I left Allstate, I was doing litigated claims. It was clear my manager had her favorites. I think she was neutral to me and I was not a target. BUT, if I pointed out systemic problems, they became my problems and I needed to live with them, or worse, “learn from them.” If one of her pets pointed out the same issue, it was taken seriously. Thankfully her pets were nice people. She was not out to get me. It just got old and it was time to go.
Uh, no. A human response would be nice though. Something this company clearly lacks. Sounds like you have the skills to move right up in the company.
Did you want a gift basket with your quitting?
Your manager could not care less about you. I also experienced this first hand. I had someone who seemed to ask about me, had my back in tough situations, and was flexible. As soon as i indicated I was quitting, she wanted nothing to do with me. Did not allow me to give notice either. I had BTE ratings most of my career and was her “go to” employee. We barely had any conversation as to why I was leaving. She said she’d check in occasionally and I’m still waiting many months later. Nobody has your back or cares about you as a person at this place.
I can only speak for my area but the leaders are just as fed up with the misdoings and misdirection of this company just as much as their reports are. And they are openly critical of senior leadership and their poor decisions. We are all on the same pages in my area of the operations.
