Fishbowl app is saying layoffs coming in WM by end of February… would not make sense for them to let people off AFTER bonuses are paid, right?

WELL...? Does your badge still work?
Is the complexes downsize a fact? Going down to 50 is major hit.
Nothing at etrade so far. The rumor in the office is that etrade is not impacted this time
They're happening right now. Plat agents pulled into conference rooms
ANYONE RECEIVED ANY NEWS YET?
The Fed reported inflation isn't curtailed and that leads to Banks reacting. Interest rates are not going down anytime soon.
MDs, EDs, if numbers are not met all others get impacted.
Is it only WM or other divisions will be impacted as well?

Looks like several hundred in WM.
I hope I get laid off. I hate this place. And I’m not alone.
I see all these comments on WARN. It’s very simple - you get “laid off” on X date but you technically are still employed usually for 90 days. They file the WARN notice in compliance which is 60 days, so 30 days after you find out. Nearly every company does this workaround so by the time you see a WARN notice you were already laid off
Anyone knows if the contractors of the WARN group in Atlanta be impacted?
Any news if Montreal will be hit?
What’s complex mean?
Meant to type Feb 15 (not 14) buckle up.
Feb 14 - going from 73 complexes down to about 50.
There was a WARN notice for April 2023 round. 453 total in NY metro. The Nov 2023 round there was no notice online. But hundreds were impacted too
Are you sure? I've seen a lot of jobs being posted by MS in the last week - month? Wouldn't they be cutting back on job postings?
WARN Notice?
Thursday. Feb 15.
Every 4-5 months at MS. Smh. Agree e original post, shocked they doing it after bonus…
It’s this week. Buckle up.
Will WM be the only BU impacted by this lay off ?
No surprise with this. It’s part of the annual low performance cleanup
2024 here we go
Wouldn't there be a WARN notice for that amount of people?
Heard today from 2 very senior people. There’s going to be another round of layoff next week or the week after. Approx 400-500
I know there is a push to cut expenses for Q1 but I don't know whether that also means job cuts.
Why wouldn’t they have just cut in December or before bonus? it’s like every other month there is cuts.
Same rumor floating here, I assume we’ll know more in a week or so.
