Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Primary focus is on the profit margins employees can generate

if you're under the impression that lowe's is concerned about being understaffed or an employee's departure, you might want to reconsider. having spent a decade working in outside lawn and garden, i've earned multiple accolades, including the prestigious executive award, which is limited to just two individuals per district. yet, when i handed in my two-week notice, the store manager completely ceased communication with me for the entire duration. this experience has led me to believe that lowe's primary focus is on the profit margins employees can generate, nothing more.

Took me almost 20 years to figure out Lowe’s doesn’t care about you. Thought it would get better when Marvelous took over, but I was wrong, company got worse. When I left, not one phone call.

I always said do no more, no less, work your schedule, take your breaks and lunch, rinse and repeat.
