Annual Meeting

Does the champagne at the annual meeting taste a little sweeter when heads are rolling in Houston?

I only hope that the consultants are not the same geniuses that came up with the mobius... because if that's the case and you are not made redundant in this round it is better to hit the eject button. I just can't see how the remaining folks will pick up the workload. For those remaining burn outs will be around the corner. This is on top of a general moral/mood that was already very low prior to this last straw. But let' not despair my friends! Leadership can launch an "Are you still ok?" campaign as a second phase of the first "Are you ok?" one to show how they care.

The consultants that they hired because they hire consultants for everything because they apparently have no business acumen themselves! How inspiring.

It does taste better now: with all the cost savings, they can surely spend more money on the champagne now

There is a hint of oaky afterbirth. Helps that they can just say consultants carefully decided all of this, F*ck consultants spreadsheet jockeys!
