Wouldn’t it be nice if the town hall’s agenda actually had information about how the shared services and all the other recent and upcoming changes are effecting employees. Morale is very low due to constantly being told of another change that was already effective, just that no one in production was actually told about it. Wish we had managers and directors who could actually manage a large and convoluted workforce.
YES, i know some contractors glt notices from their afencies that their last dayis 2/29. So far, havent heard anything about FTEs, bit who knows
RIFs are happening already but not in large numbers. Now that reviews are done you’ll see more start to disappear.
There are so many SVP, VP and Staff VPs that need to be consolidated. How are we ever going to get our collective sh*t together when so many mini empires exist that get a vote on something?
Get your career building BS out of the way of those of us trying to make a difference for our members.
Reductions and consolidations are absolutely necessary. Sorry not sorry.
It will be another Town Hall about being "The Best" and introducing another C Suite. Will Sarah mention that UM is having to hire back post 2K RIF due to Marketplace surge? The increase is great news but we all know they laid off staff to keep the investors happy. All on the back of the staff who have been loyal. Other threads shared staff at top of range will loose the annual lump sum. Maybe someone should ask Sarah her feelings on this.
They’re probably just going to talk about things like the Centene mission and introduce a new millionaire executive officer. Layoffs will be kept quiet unless they get leaked to the media again
I heard from someone today that they have been told by their upper management that there are definitely more layoffs coming since Centene lost the bid on the TriCare contract. Not surprised at all. Pretty sure they already knew they weren't going to get it which is why Drew said there were more layoffs coming early 2024 - and yes he did say that at the town hall that addressed the Sept layoffs for a whole 5 secs. The question is when are they going to happen, how, and who. No one should get too comfortable because it can be anyone regardless of performance or pay grade.
There will not be announcement of layoffs. They only talked about layoffs in the other town hall because of the leak to the media.
