Your guess is as good as mine my friend. Cigna MA has not been profitable either and there’s been something like 5 MA Presidents over the last 7 years so we’ve never had consistent goals or direction. Also with the CMS MA payment decrease looming in 2025, were in for a rocky ride.

Cannot figure this one out. We have been losing money on the government programs.
Getting better but no where near where we need to be. Why would we buy more of it? Have to wonder what we will be like in a few years. Talented people have left and continue to leave. New hires are ill equipped to handle this.

Cigna MA here. Yes, we were informed we will hear in the coming weeks-months if we are “identified” to move to HCSC and the “vast majority” will. Reading between the lines there, some folks may be scrapped and there’s rumors of a 2/29 layoff date across the org. There’s also a pause on any MA staff to post out to roles out of MA.

Yes, reading comments on Cigna section of website, they plan to bring "most" Cigna Medicare employees over, however it does appear they have already gone through several layoffs of Medicare Staff the past months.

Is the plan to bring Cigna Medicare staff over? Wonder what that means for us?
