Having come from another company, I am very happy with the benefits here. So much better than where I was.
I love how my total rewards statement shows medicare and social security taxes as a benefit to me - when those programs will be insolvent and/or completely gutted by the time I retire.
The comp team just implements what they are told with the resources they are given. They have approximately zero power to change the overall level of benefits or compensation. The problem is at the C-suite and Board level.
