Things are definitively better elsewhere. This company is too darn big. Don't really think they care much about the employees along with the other nonsense related to building a better healthcare system etc. They seem to really not care too much about the human aspect as they continually deny coverage; a patient can die waiting for an appeal.
They really care a whole lot about buying out competitors to increase their profits, line their pockets and decrease competition. They acquire, cut people, cut products, grab data, use that to monopolize the market and thereby increase profits which increase shareholder value. Plain and Simple. They are out to be the biggest and richest but not the best (as they continue to think in their heads). The end game is increasing shareholder value and their own wealth. Employees are the tools that they use and abuse to get where they want to go their own way.
Couldn’t agree more, @2hla+1qMwnKmC. Great dissection.
