What leads to being fired or terminated, here? What are peoples experiencing with being fired? Asking because I may be on the chopping block

Not willing to change and not ki$$ing the right a$$e$. I worked there 8 years. I had a new boss about every 2 years. I was laid off 2 months after we had a big meeting with my boss's boss's boss. Some people were su-king up so much, and the VP wanted the meeting to 'get to know' people in his organization better. Ha Ha. All I can say is keep your skills sharp and it never hurts to apply to certain jobs periodically both in and outside of UHG.

Better to let them fire or lay you off. Take the severance or unemployment. Give yourself a few days to collect yourself and look at it as a sign that you were in need of something new. Use the time to update your resume.

Get ready they will use any tact to make you quit or fire you. They really don't care

I used to think that myself, and 10 years later Im still around. Should I have been RIFF'd? Some years yes, some years no.What I did learn is there is NO rhyme or reason who is let go and who is not. It's like the lottery.

Being older than 50, being smarter than your manager (which is not hard to do), or questioning changes being implemented.
