February payroll had me giving a full time associate 8 hours weeks 3 & 4. This finally proved to me that we are not valued at all. I was saved this past May, but through a series of events know I’m cut on the next ‘restructuring’. I went ahead and resigned and the relief is amazing.

The worst ever these universities that have contracts with this company need to wake up. This company is destroying their reputation with their horrible business tactics it's no longer about the student's it's all about the mighty dollar at the expense of their associates. Managers are working 14 plus hour days micromanaged by their rm's on the weekends they can't even go to their personal appointments and have to do all of the offsite events themselves because there is no staff or payroll hours cut across the board. People can't take care of there families!

I'm gone several months. I was on 2 depression / anxiety medications trying to deal with my job at Follett. Now I'm off both.
If you are still with Follett, you are making a mistake... You need to leave. Life is better.... And btw, I'm over 50 and it did take me a while to find another job. Invest in a resume service. Check out YouTube videos by Madeline "self made millennial" for interview tips.
You can do this!
JRC's only mandate is to show a profit.
You can't get blood from a turnip but boy they can get it from you.
JRC admit failure.
Follett family probably laughing their bottoms off.
It just gets better my friend. The longer you are away from Follett, the more you realize how bad it really was. I was cut last May and then strung along for a new position but I found a job that has nothing to do with college or books and my life is soooo much better. I make a lot more money, much better home/life balance and I am appreciative and supported by my employer. I really think I went through a bit of minor PTSD after leaving Follett, but everything is great now. I’m excited for your future! You’ve got this! You made a great decision!
What do you mean but through a series of events know I’m cut on the next ‘restructuring’? Is another chop coming down the pipeline? I didn't think there was much left to cut...
At least we have all these executives that don't do cr-p though.
I can just feel the relief. It certainly affects your morale knowing you’re just a number and a means to an end, at least until someone else can do it for less pay. It’s challenging when you don’t quite fit the correct demographic for the jobs you apply for though. At this point, I’m willing to take a cut in pay somewhere else, just to not have the mental stress and workload from not having enough hours to get everything done.
Good for you. I left last January when all the hours were cut and it was like a weight was lifted. Better job and better pay, it is out there. Good luck.
