Has anyone heard anything as to when AIP will be paid?

Here's something that's going to really pi-s you off; at most, you're going to get 50%. I have no idea how they justify lowering or completely eliminating RIF'd employee's bonuses, but they do. I've seen a lot of RIFs in my time here, even some as late as January/February, and I've never seen anyone paid at more than 50%, and some are zeroed out.
I hope your experience is different; I'd love to be wrong that that is overall policy. But in my experience, it is.
The date, as you've read here already, is 3/15.
This. Plus, performance ratings guide the range managers are given (which is why corporate pushes HARD for very few exceeds -- behind the scenes, exceeds are getting kicked back from HR), as well as a bucket from which to allocate. At that point, the manager has discretion regarding how much to give to each employee, within said range and total bucket. So you get people with an AIP of 25% essentially "stealing from" people with an AIP of 5%.
They are also encouraged not to max said bucket. A few years ago, I actually saw senior leadership encourage local leadership (all on AIPs of 35%) to lower bonuses so the balance of the bucket could be dispensed among said leaders. Not a rumor, I and two others saw it in writing. "Please reduce your folks' bonuses -- [leader] wants to give you all a little extra. :)" (The smiley face was included.) One flatly refused; the others did as they were told. 150% allocated bonus payouts were dropped to 100% or less.
3/15 is the paydate
AIP is always scheduled. It's not manager discretion, as someone mentioned. I believe this year it's the third Friday of March. Either way, the payout date has been public since December.
They usually announce it early if the bonuses will be good. If the bonuses are going to be low, they normally stay silent until just before the checks are cut. Why cause a drop in employee morale earlier than they have to....
In the past years Anthem was somewhat proactive in telling you the percentage you could expect for AIP a couple months before payout. Now days it's a corporate secret... So much for transparency...
AIP payout is dependent on your leader and how much they allocate to you. I’ll be interested to see how many eligible people actually get an AIP payout.
Same as always, except perhaps lower than usual since there's no reason or incentive to allocate us a higher amount and save it for their faves.
don't expect communication apart from a check in my account and a remittance advice shortly after. This is E - health and you're RiF'ed you know the game..
It's Friday, 3/15. I saw it on Pulse.
It’s always between 1st and 2nd payday of March.
