2% increase. Why bother. After years and years, and I mean a lot of years of service I get a 2% increase?!?!?!? I guess they figured we’d give them titles this year instead of a pay increase. Wow! Way to make me feel valued WF.

Bonus same as last year. Hike less than last year - Lead software engineer, technology CSBBT
no raise here so be happy
28 years, no raise this year. Beat that!
Prior to them hiding MRP in our pay, in my entire 19 years here the closest I ever got was 88% of MRP, after 4 years in the role. My raises, aside from promotion, have consistently been under 3%. Even when I was well below MRP (low 70%) and banker/team leads/sups were getting COL adjustments, I was skipped over. I was hired in as a banker but quickly was moved to analytics, and that's how my pay ended up being so low on the scale, they didn't want to give me the huge bump to bring me to market, and I'm not big on confrontation. Unless your out of the old WFVC umbrella, or someones pet, raises tend to stink.
OP, means your manager gave the bigger piece of cheese to the mice producing more. Cry harder.

if you aren't happy with your salary then do something about it and quit
I've never rec'd a 2% merit increase. Even w/Exceeds several yrs, It's always been 1.XX%. Consider yourself lucky.
"The pool was around 3.5%, so you must be doing something wrong."
Not true... Even though they told us that targets and mrp were eliminated that isnt the case. There are still behind the curtains target % and the OP merit could be based on their current comp level. When i was a manager you tried to offset that with a larger bonus. They took alot of that out of your hands today.
@yzk+1qKAiHuZ Do you realize that you just told someone to stop whining and then whined? You must be in marketing.
I’ve been here 20 years and my merit increase was a big goose egg. Stop whining.
It’s that Down In A Well Life, bruh!
If you’ve been here years and years then you know 2% is the norm. What are you whining about? It’s not good, sure, but did you expect something different?

The pool was around 3.5%, so you must be doing something wrong.
I've been here for 15 years and the ranges have never changed, before and after the job title changes
Actually a layoff notice is my goal for this year. Sadly my actually execution f my job is impacting this as I got an Exceeds. Hopefully being looked at as doing a great job will work in my favor as talent and work ethic are prioritized lower than KoolAid drinking and brown nosing!
And for those that wonder why I want to be laid off 21 years means almost a year of severance and this bunch of jackholes owes me that.
I noticed the pay range hasn’t changed for the last 3 years at least. I find that odd. At my last employer, it went up every year.
Your feelings are heard. You are not alone.
@OP crying about a small increase while omitting all relevant details behind your position...........did you get the pity party you were looking for by posting here?
You're probably one of these goofs who's been running at a salary base of 150% industry/locale standard with a knockout bonus complaining about getting peanuts. How easily those in privilege forget and feel entitled to things they should not. Wahhh wahhh I WORKED FOR YEARS!!!! Like no-one else did. Ha. Enjoy that 2%
That’s the norm. You ou must have fallen asleep.
increases have hovered between 1-3% for a decade now with last year being a bit of an outlier at up to 5%. Even a promotion will only get you 10% in most cases. While there are exceptions to this and many will get more than this range, the vast majority won't.
For those like myself with salaries over $150K, we are lucky to get 1%.
The best way to increase your salary is to change jobs or change companies.
Sad to hear your unhappiness with your increase. Question: Is it better to get a 2% increase in compensation or a layoff notice?
Just curious. I'm seeing so many unhappy employees commenting on their increase and all I know about inside WF is what I read here.
Hope your bonus was more palatable!
