We shouldn’t pay for USAA and CHRO’s mistake and need to demand that they pay for services no covered by Cigna.

So far Cigna has been ok for me. It was a pain to update my insurance info with my doctors but once I got through that it’s been ok. Biggest issue is there are just so few doctors in San Antonio relative to the number of people. Takes so long to get an appointment!
Started a several series treatment plan in 2023 and was unable to complete before year end. Got the call yesterday that Cigna doesn’t cover at all, so now I cannot complete treatment.
If a company’s net worth is tanking, not that that isn’t a thing that’s happened to many insurance companies and banks right now, and the company cannot have a positive operating margin, then yeah, benefits changes are going to su-k (for the bottom 98%).
Terri Castro, did you pay the deductible?
Got text CVS had refill ready. Called and what I paid $7 with Aetna will be now $71.99 with Cigna!!!!! 🤬😡
Sh-t like this is why you see people unionizing
What services/procedures are no longer covered?
LOL!
Good luck in getting them to pay. If your doctor does not accept Cigna or cover the test you’re required, you’re better off getting a part time job to pay for it or better yet find another job.
There’s a lot of unhappy retired USAA employees impacted by this change. It’s not like they can just go back into the workforce. They have no choice. :(
The PTO change, forced 4 days RTO, and the switch to CIGNA for 2024, my belief is this was done to force employees to quit to limit the amount of layoffs this year. Then heading into 2025, they switch to a better health provider, and possibly ease off on the 4 days in office. But, who knows, Wayne might still be in charge come Jan 2025.
It wasn't a mistake to ensure they saved as much as possible while upsetting as much of you as possible to get you to leave or be unhappy with the situation to seek other employment elsewhere...
