Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Mental Health - Burnout

For a company and EVP that proclaim to care about employee mental health and well being why do they push alcohol in the work place instead of keeping headcount with those funds? Why do employees constantly work 50+ hours a week without SLT batting an eye and it being the expectation? They RIF employees stating their jobs are not necessary, yet the work those employees were doing is still necessary and given to those that remain and who already have a full workload. Being contradictory must be a prerequisite to be on SLT or a C-Level in this new T-Mobile.

Because they do not actually care

Leaving was the best decision I have ever made! Take care of your mental health. Nothing is worth destroying it. Especially not working for TMO!

People need to venture out and stop drinking the cool aide. It went from magenta to now a washed out memory of what once was. Once you start looking you will see other companies offer better pay, better culture and authenticity. Stop whining and get out there and do something about it.

If you want a high paying job where you don’t have to work hard or long go work for the government.

You can tell when a VP or SVP or E-Staff has been caught doing something because a new training or new hiring requirement is very suddenly applied.

The lack of integrity at the SVP+ level is ridiculous. Those seem to be the same leaders that get promoted or recognized. Having others take their required trainings or not following gifting policies. Lower level leaders and employees have been let go for much less.

Yes. They can push doing things the right way and integrity trainings every quarter/year and expect employees to abide even though they don’t. “Do as I say, Not as I do”.
