Any word on our API in March? I had heard late last year that it was looking like we were going to do pretty well. Think they're going to go harder on RTO this year? Any chance of a RIF anywhere? Just wondering what people have been hearing if anything.

They’re going in hard on RTO. Finally. About time. It has been unfair for those who have followed policy while seeing others cheating and doing anything NOT to be in the ofc. Someone in a dept near mine complained because he had to now be in the office three days a week. Acted like he’d not received all the messages since 2021 about coming back. He isn’t fooling anyone. Awww poor thing has to actually be there like most others. I have zero sympathy. Others will begin to see their actions in reduced merit pay, smaller bonuses, going on a PIP if they still don’t comply then being fired. It’s not hard. Do what your employer expects or find a new job.
We should not wait to get RIFed. After API payment, start looking while you can. Still a good job market and many people who left said they are happy they moved.
I'm hearing there will likely be a hiring freeze and things are expected to slow down. Which means leadership will probably be puffing their chests up trying to justify themselves, expect lots of administrative busy work this year
LOL @ the DEI team getting canned. He-l will freeze over before that happens.
The entire DEI department and program are going to be RIF'd, to keep the red-state accounts and politicians happy. The tides seem to be turning against these words, and HCSC is riding that wave.
No major RIFs in sight but big slowdown on hiring, which is a good thing. Managers have to recommend API payout over the next couple weeks, but any multiplier doesn't get set until board meets a few weeks before the bonus payday. Expectations are fairly high.
No RIF rumors in my world, we keep expanding and taking on new business. Just hope they don't grow too fast, as that does typically lead to RIFs down the line. As far as API...who knows? By all accounts it was a good year and one would hope the people who made that happen are rewarded. Especially after a few underwhelming years in that category. Not holding my breath, but more hopeful than I have been in recent years.
