Just who was impacted by today's layoffs? I knew that there closing 5 stores. Those impacted where they mostly at the corporate level or if at the store level? If at the store, who was affected?

Everyone laid off, managers that had worked for the company 20 plus years. See ya, not even a thank you, you can apply at other stores, nope. Doesn't bode well for the future of Macys.
Visual manager only being added back in locations 20M and up. Captains remain in smaller stores.
800 store executive jobs were Eliminated

Pretty sure the Store Fulfillment Centers are closing. 29 locations
CXM in my store was laid off
Majority was corporate layoff
I work at a smaller Macys location and to my knowledge nobody was left go. I'm sure I would have heard if something happened .
