Next round of RIF?

Any higher level people managers know any insider info as to when the next round of RIF? I work in Medicare sales and it's been bloodbath. Thinking about applying for some jobs in Carelon

The more lifting and shifting we do the worse things get. I don't understand why no one gets that...

AI has tremendous possibilities, good and bad. However, it will be the death of our economy and economies around the world. This isn't a "replacing the buggy whip" situation where things move onward and upward. This will end up making tens of millions around the world unemployed. And it will not take that long for the effects to be felt. AI is moving along at an extremely rapid pace. And if you're in an industry where you think that AI won't affect you, keep in mind that unemployed people don't buy things, they don't vacation and they don't go out to eat, etc, etc, etc. They don't invest in the market, they pay far less in taxes and they take up more government resources. And it won't be their fault. This will ripple through every level of our economy and every other country too.

We in management are not being told much but, I fully expect the rifs to continue throughout 2024.
I think on top of the medicaid redeterminations and the failure of the medicare star program Gail is looking to implement heavy AI utilization costing thousands their current roles. This is just my personal opinion on the matter.
